The Vance Home Improvement CO2 Tank to Soda Maker Adapter was designed with 2 things in mind.
Quality tested construction that is guaranteed to not leak and be durable.
DIY Soda Making that is as easy as possible to use.
Here’s easy steps to set this device up.
1. You should have 2 white washers, and 1 orange gasket. You will be using one white washer, the other is a spare. An orange gasket is already installed in the smaller piece, you have another as a spare. 2. Take the larger end of your adapter. Put washer into the adapter, then twist onto the end of your CO2 Tank. Go slowly to make sure the adapter is screwed in properly. (Make sure your tank is switched completely off.)
3. Use a pair of pliers to tighten the larger end, until very tight.
4. Now, remove the back flap of your soda maker.
5. On the soda maker end, take the smaller, detachable piece and screw it into the soda maker. Tighten this by hand until very tight.
6. Take the other end of the hose (the quick release end) and connect it to the piece you just screwed into the soda maker.
7. Put the back flap back on the soda maker.
You’re done, use your soda maker as you normally would. (We recommend using food grade CO2, 99.9% purity. Very cheap to buy a large tank at a keg store, brewery, and many other places)
